Stony Plain Skating Club Competitive Team:
The Stony Plain Skating Club has a history of a successful and fun competitive team. Coaches, parents and skaters join together to give the skaters an opportunity to participate in a variety of competitions. As with any activity of this type, expenses are involved for entry fees, travel, coaching time and coaching travel. In an effort to lessen the costs for individual skaters, the competitive team was formed. The competitive team generates funds from specific fund-raising activities. • February 3 - 5, 2012: Edmonton Region FunSkate, Edmonton
• February 9 - 12, 2012: Alberta Winter Games, Stony Plain, Spruce Grove, Parkland County
• February 23 - 26, 2012: Alberta STARSkate Championships, Whitecourt
• April 13 - 15, 2011: SASC Springsational, St. Alberta
